Although Santina is originally from Upstate NY where snow & ice are abundant, she never strapped on a pair of ice skates until 2001. She picked up the game quickly, playing in the USA Woman's National Tournament with the Rochester Edge after just 3 years of experience. After moving to Chicago, Santina participated in the 2006 Gay Games. Not long after that, she began playing with the Evanston Tigers' exhibition team.
In her spare time, Santina plays soccer, softball, and rugby. She also enjoys the city nightlife...maybe too much at times ;).
