| I have competed in many hockey events. I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I started playing hockey due to a Michigan neighbor that moved in when he put me in front of the net with no equipment. I blocked the shot and fell in love with the sport.
I started playing on roller travel hockey teams at the age of 12 years old, and kept on competeing in roller hockey till the age of 17 years old. Over that time I have obtained 130 trophies from various events. I then made a change over to ice hockey. I played high school hockey in the valley and even went to a lot of junior tryouts for boys. I finished out my high school and went to Canada for the summer playing on a girls team. After that summer I went to the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada for a year. I realised that Windsor was not the place for me and found myself back in Arizona. Just recently I tried out for Team USA, but did not make the team, but I keep on rolling as currently I am still attending school to obtain my degree in Physical Therapy. I also work as a hockey director at Arcadia Ice Arena. I love being around the sport and don't see my life without it. |
